Devon Design Delight

Away from the hustle and bustle of city life, the owners of this cottage look to their natural surroundings for inspiration and for a different kind of excitement. The refurbishment and extension of this listed building was undertaken partly to stabilise the structure. The design uses traditional materials including stone , slate and oak, to achieve a sympathetic match to the existing . There is a new wet-room with an enormous shower, as well as a new bathroom with traditional fittings. New windows take advantage of fabulous restful views. The owners are enjoying the new space, along with a few new mod cons.
